I've noted before that shortly after Lawrence of Arabia was released my father gave my sister and me a dollar each and told us to go see it. Glad he did. Many of the images and words said with me, though I was only a lad.
By the by a children's ticket was fifty cents and bus fare was a dime each way. That left plenty for popcorn.
