Cool and all, but what does that really even mean? They already did the sequel trilogy, so all he can do is make more spinoffs or add to his current shows.
Too bad he couldn't be the one to at least write the Sequels. He could've done something really cool.

He could've done something really cool. it means he got a promotion , you didn't like the sequels, some hate the prequels and a few hated the original trilogy . Not sure Dave would have done much better , but Bob Iger bought George's outlines for sequel trilogy just to throw them in the trash.

Lol, Kennedy is still the boss, and if you don't like it, stop watching Mando, which she produces.

but Bob Iger bought George's outlines for sequel trilogy just to throw them in the trash. Did they throw them in the trash?
They followed the basics of it.
The sequel trilogy that Gary Kurtz mentioned one time in an interview
it said episode 6---Han Solo dies, Leia becomes leader and Luke goes off on his own.
episode 7-9 would focus on a new Empire threat, and Luke would seek "the Other" before a final confrontation with the Emperor.
They followed those plot elements, they just shuffled them around a little.

This doesn’t change much. He already had creative control of the television shows. He shares it with Favreau. Unless he gets creative control over some of the writing and production in future movies it’s just a title.
