There's been media speculation of a mass clear-out at City this summer with up to 12 players on their way out. And it seems the bookies aren't taking any chances on who Gladioli might bring in and the 9/4 about City being crowned may seem stingy to some. Despite CFC's rampaging campaign the club are second favourites at less than threes to keep their crown. There are some high odds here, to my eyes, but I suppose anything can happen between now and August. The book seems to suggest a three horse race, with no North London involvement at all.
City 9/4 CFC 11/4 Man U 10/3 Spurs 8 Liverpool 10 Arsenal 12 Everton 150 Leicester 200 So'ton 250 West Ham 350 Stoke, WBA, Newcastle, Palace 500 Bournemouth, Swansea 750 Burnley, Watford 1000 Brighton 1500 Source : b365

Actually, I'd put Spurs even lower.
They're playing at Wembley. Put your money on an awful, stop/start season.

9/4 for Man City is ridiculously short. As is Man Utd at 10/3. Insane odds.
Liverpool and Arsenal look a bit long. The rest are about right IMHO.

Yeah, Spurs are screwed next season with the Wembley curse, could be 10th and out of the CL by December. We, if we beat Middlesboro on Sunday will probably be around 10th too, no chance of us making the top 4 next season unless Klopp brings in a load of players.

Odds stack up pretty well - Two clear favourites.
12/1 on Arsenal could be decent value.
Less expectations next year. Maybe out of the champions league as well. They may ditch the UEFA for a League run...

Spurs will be fine at Wembley - This curse nonsense is something from the middle ages and akin to which burning - Pre season will be all thats needed to get used to it. These players are pros- Its there job to deal with the change. It isn't the big deal others are making it out to be.
Yes its tough playing there in odd games, but all season and pre season they will adjust - these payers and manager can deal with it.
I can not see them winning the league (but another top 4 is the minimum requirement). I hope they keep the majority of the team and management - they are a success story in the world of football and this negativity over them is typical in todays world.

They may ditch the UEFA for a League run... I don't gamble, but if I did, I might be tempted into a cheeky little E/W bet on Palace at 500/1. If you can keep that Liverpool player (Sakho if he's fit) and a couple of other smart additions and keep your existing squad together, then who knows? A lot of moving parts there of course. Mind you, shame the bookies have learnt their lesson from offering those 5,000/1 odds a couple of years ago.

Palaces plauses.
Zaha may not go anywhere because whilst a great player could be seen as a disruption at other clubs and a player that will be out for a month every other year due to choosing ivory coast.
Bolaise seems to be settling in and I cant see huge bids coming in for him.
The fact that sacko is injured may actually be a blessing in disguise and for palace to get hold of him(even though he will be injured for the start of the season).. If he was fit i am sure he would be on his way back to anfield come the end of the season or sold to a top club in the transfer window.
500/1 isn't good enough all the same as the Premier league is getting better again.
the top 6 are the top 6 again.
Everton clearly out on there own in 7th on there own - and then the rest.
I think palace would be a good bet at getting top 10 - but the odds wont be great but they do have players that are above and beyond many other teams in the pl.
Anything is possible though stan. Whats a tenner, take the bet....

Anything is possible though stan. Whats a tenner, take the bet.... To do that, I'd have to either reopen at least one online account (which I closed down years ago), and keep it open for a whole year, or I'd have to physically walk into a bookmakers, neither are things I am willing to do. I've gone a bit crazy in the past while being under the influence.
