The one I'm thinking of off the top of my head (because I just watched the movie) is the 2020 film Palm Springs. The revelation that Sarah
had sex with her sister's fiance the night before their wedding
made me just hate her guts for the remainder of the movie. Nothing, from Nyles chastising others about what a good person she is, to her professions of guilt and wanting to change, made me forget what a terrible thing she did, and the fact that her character gets a happy ending
just pissed me off.
