For a while, it seems this movie is just about how to score in Vietnam. Once the film finally gets to its titular location, things get more interesting. Such madness for a hill that really has no strategic or military value. The hill is taken but it sure doesn’t feel like any victory. Was released a month after Full Metal Jacket.

5/10 OK. Nothing special. Full Metal Jacket is the far superior war film of '87.
