What do you think about Two and a Half Men, I'm talking about the first 8 seasons, so let's stick to that. the show went downhill when Charlie Sheen left and stopped being funny in my opinion. This is my one of my favorite sitcom, I'm not really a big 'sitcom" fan but I love this. No matter how many times i re-watch it's still funny.

Never watched it. Was never my thing but I didn't see what exactly made it the worst show on television like the moral police wanted everyone to believe.

I loved Two and a Half Men (pre-Ashton Kutcher, of course). I know a lot of people don't like Chuck Lorre shows, but I do. I also used to love The Big Bang Theory, the first 5 or 6 seasons anyway, before it went bad.

Crude, rude and funny as hell until Jake grew up and became major league stupid. Charlie Sheen left and in comes Ashton Kutcher who was about as funny as a block of wood.

The only episode that didn't suck was the one with Megan Fox.

When it first started airing back in '03 I didn't like it, but then I grew to love it over the years. I even enjoyed the Ashton Kutcher years. I'm a big sitcom fan. I have been since I was a little kid. I love both single-cam and multi-cam sitcoms. Despite how some may feel about multi-cam sitcoms 2.5 Men had some really good episodes over the years. Was it at times sophomoric and a little dumb? Yes. But the majority of time is was pretty darn funny.
As for the Ashton years, I actually think bringing him in was one of the best moves the show made at the time. Charlie's final season was pretty weak. Definitely the weakest of the Charlie Sheen run. Even if Sheen remained sober and agreeable with his employers I doubt the show had much left in it with Sheen at the lead. Kutcher aloud the writers to take the series in a slightly new direction and breath new life into the show. Now, the Ashton years were never able to top any of the Charlie years, but I will argue that some episodes came close. Also, Cryer and Kutcher were never really able to create the same amount of chemistry that Cryer and Sheen had. They also missed something without having a half man around, but overall it was solid.

Great at first. Lame towards the end.

It feels like Charlie Sheen sort of became the character he portrayed in the end. Weird, great, comic show in the beginning. I miss that.

I watched all episodes of the show.
I actually enjoyed Kutcher episodes. I don't think it sucked after when Sheen left show because Alan was still in it which is always funniest and my favorite character from the show. Season 8 is a bit weak and series finale is literally one of the worst things. I didn't feel angry or sad after I finished it, but I miss this show. Girls where they meets and trying yo flirt are always fun and interesting.. Alan and Lindsay's relantioship is my favorite.

I admit it was getting a bit stale towards the end of the eighth season. Alan was becoming even more annoying than ever. I liked him as the cool and collected brother he was in the first few seasons. He was very levelheaded at the time, and the voice of reason when it came to Charlie's antics. They really did a number on his character.
I hated the Chelsea story line. Having a permanent love interest for Charlie was a bad move. The guest stars they had as his one-night stands on the show were hilarious.
When Jake grew up, it was time for him to go. He was no longer the adorable comic relief. Berta managed to remain funny for 12 years.
Since it did continue after Sheen's departure, I do think the role would have been better suited for somebody like Billy Bob Thornton or John Stamos.
The Charlie Sheen years will always be the best. Ashton Kutcher is about as entertaining as watching paint dry. Charlie was the life and soul of the show. It was supposed to revolve around Sheen's experiences. Without him, there is no Two and a Half Men (2003 - 2015). They should have drug tested Chuck Lorre when he hired Kutcher.
