All 3 are beautiful ladies, but I find Faye Dunaway especially enticing. Stunningly beautiful.

Barbra’s style like everything about her , reflects her personal choice. I don’t always like it, but she is always all Barbra. Faye dunaway was a startling style icon . Bonnie and Clyde brought back 20’s fashion, very influential in my college years. Then her clothes in Thomas Crown Affair, were perfect 60’s chic. From then on , her style was not so influential
JANE Fonda never struck me as an influencer. She was more of a perfect follower. Likewise, I don’t remember women my age admiring her politics and feminism. We admired Katharine Hepburn, Bette Davis, for carving their own path. We admired Gloria Steinem for articulating so many of our concerns.

I like Gloria Steinem. Leading Australian feminist Germaine Greer has been a fixture on British television for my lifetime, but I always liked Steinem. She's from Toledo, Ohio. She has Polish and German ancestry. I thought she looked terrific undercover as a Playboy bunny - I have a picture of her on my punk music thread on the imdb2 Music board, also one of Debbie Harry when she was a waitress bunny. Steinem's been friends with Jane Fonda for what seems like forever.

That’s kind of what I meant about JANE. She did not so much set the style as catch the wave perfectly .

I read this quote from Barbra Streisand online which supposedly was said in response to something Gloria Steinem said ... I do remember Steinem led the charge hard against Woody Allen.
"I didn't sulk because I wan't gorgeous. I dressed wild to show I didn't care."
- Barbra Streisand

“Men are allowed to have passion and commitment for their work ... a woman is allowed that feeling for a man, but not her work.”
