The seven Samurai? He had a spoiler filled review of it. Gave it 4 out of 4.

Yeah. It's not my personal favorite but it is one of the most well balanced and sublime movies I've ever seen. If it's guilty of anything, it's being so well balanced that no one thing stands out above the rest. Nobody stole the show, nobody rose or fell beneath the rest; it's an utter total package of a movie. It's the stuff movies are made of.

I've heard they show Seven Samurai to insomniacs. Well ya, makes sense. Because alot of people especially younger people don't like classic films. So yea this film would work for that maybe.

It's the movie for which the word "magnificent" was coined.
Wish I could see it on a full size theatre screen.

The seven Samurai? He had a spoiler filled review of it. Gave it 4 out of 4. Ebert's write-up was part of his The Great Movies series. It was not a review. These in-depth essays assumed a knowledge of the film under discussion. You might say it was film criticism, not a review to help readers decide whether or not to see it.
