I ask this question not because i personally think that he is a racist guitar player, but some of his comments could be incorrectly considered racist by others. The thing that led me to believe this is the video that says something like, steve vai , who is the best guitarist of all time ?. Or some title like that. And then his comments throughout it.
So on this particular video, would that make you believe that Steve Vai is actually a racist guitar player?
Or, would there be no evidence that supports that?

Christ, I like a lot of musicians who may have dodgy ideas, who knows, does that make them less talented? Jimmy Page "escorted" 14 year old Lori Maddox around LA when Zep were in town and Bowie allegedly had already taken her virginity by then, do we not listen to them? Clapton with his Enoch Powell speech, Elvis Costello with his racist comments in the US in the late 70's?. Personally I think Vai's music is shit and his style of playing scales extemely fast bores me to tears like most metal but I don't see why him being a racist should make any difference to whether someone likes what he does. Now then, where's that copy of "Leader Of The Gang"?
