The Fifth Element Zoolander Resident Evil
I actually saw 'Zoolander' for the first time recently, fun movie with a great cast. (: off topic, I still have to watch 'Hereditary' & 'Midsommar' which you recommended!)
I thought she was excellent in 'Resident Evil'. But 'The Fifth Element' is one of my favourites.

I thought she was excellent in 'Resident Evil'. But 'The Fifth Element' is one of my favourites.
It's funny how Vin Diesel cameos as the voice of Bruce Willis' former military pal and they frame it like it's supposed to be a secret, huge cameo by an A list actor when Diesel didn't became a legit name till 2001 at the latest.

Of course! But also because I have them both near the top of my to-watch dvd pile since you recommended them, and you're one of a few people here who posts on Film General whose posts I enjoy reading because you're a horror movie fan. Friday On Elm Street knows I'm a horror fan at heart.

The support cast of 'Chaplin' was largely overlooked due to Robert Downey Jr.'s showstopper so I feel that's a great call. I've not seen it since it came out but Moira Kelly and Milla Jovovich are only belatedly recieving credit for their work from film critics. Downey Jr. was friends with Christian Slater who was friends with Jovovich at the time.

For the record, here's Oscar-nominated 'Chaplin' star Robert Downey Jr. getting loaded with Christian Slater ... nobody partied harder than these guys back then ...
As I understand it from interviews past, Milla Jovovich chose to stay away from their louche behaviour though she enjoyed hanging out with them as friends, which was probably a smart move.

For me Ray Allen's wooden performance holds the movie back from me fully embracing it and the the stuff with Denzel's character is so much more interesting than the stuff with Ray Allen's character that it makes the movie feel off-balance. The movie is still miles ahead of most of the other movies that Milla Jovovich has starred in, which is why I included it.

Not seen much of hers in movies, the odd chat show, but The Fifth Element was thrust on me by my youngest daughter.....and I loved it.
Is it just me or does she never seem to age?
