“One White. One Black. One Blonde.” The tag line for The Mod Squad, a five-season one-hour crime series on ABC about three young undercover cops. It ran from September 1968 to August 1973. Stars were Michael Cole, Peggy Lipton, and Clarence Williams III. This was where he made his first mark. I’m surprised it hasn’t come up.
