Man they're really showing a lot in these tv spots. Looks like that was a mistake on the part of Marvel Canada.

Man they're really showing a lot in these tv spots. Was that the one with Captain Carter’s BRITISH SHIELD and the YELLOW HOVERCHAIR?

Man they're really showing a lot in these tv spots. Was that the one with Captain Carter’s BRITISH SHIELD and the YELLOW HOVERCHAIR? Yes! It was pulled from Marvel Canada YouTube channel. There's been multiple uploads of that TV spot as well as screenshots circling around social media. The fact that a TV spot advertising the film's may 6th release with that many spoiler reveals was insane and taken straight out of Sony playback lmao.

I think/hope there’s a lot more in store that we don’t know yet though.

Currently sitting at 84% RT ratings. Not bad but also a bit low for MCU movies of this scale.

Settling in the 70s would be interesting though. Well that's not good. That's around the same score as Captain Marvel and Black Widow. I wonder if that means this movie will be the next divisive MCU movie.

FWIW I’d rather the critic’s scores sit around here for a movie like this (currently at 62 on Metacritic and 80% on RT). Usually scores like that mean two things:
1) The safe, always-love-every-studio-movie critics aren’t super impressed, and
2) The snobs probably aren’t impressed either, but they at least respect it.
It implies a middle ground where we get to see something fresh while also not being subjected to some kind of complete subversion of the franchise.
On the other hand, I’m probably looking into it more than I should and it’s just a modern Raimi movie (ie. divisive).

I’m trying to steer clear of too many spoilers, but from what’s been said, it sounds like outside of the Illuminati, this movie won’t be the cameo-heavy fanservice extravaganza we were led to believe, and is in fact a Doctor Strange movie.

That's what some of the reviews have said, that they wish there were actually more cameos or at least lengthier cameos.

Most reviewers seem to agree that Marvel indeed let Raimi go full Raimi. That’s really all I needed to hear. Bring on the Raiminess.

Talking to Variety during the film's premiere, Elizabeth Olsen revealed that her character hasn't truly escaped her mistakes. She might be in isolation and away from prison, but there will be personal accountability she'll take for her actions. Olsen said: I remember people saying at the end of WandaVision, 'She has no accountability.' She’s gonna take accountability for herself. She’s gonna isolate, she’s gonna think about it, and she’s gonna grow. movieweb.com/elizabeth-olsen-says-wanda-will-take-accountability-for-westview/

I haven’t seen the movie or read that much about it, but I want to note that Brian Tallerico disliked it, which makes me think I’ll like it. I think Tallerico is a terrible “critic” who often doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

I don’t know who he is but hating a movie for too much Raiminess is like hating Christmas for having too many presents!
