I think you misspelled "Christians". The majority of theists around the world are not Christian, including myself. I am a non-religious theist, so I have no church, no Bible, and I certainly don't give money to any religious organizations.

But those theists that believe in the God that is associated with Jesus and believe that he is responsible for the creation of the Earth, that he created Heaven/Hell for you, etc - got all that information (directly or indirectly) from an organised religion - they have been responsible for signing off those texts (what's included, what's omitted, how it's phrased, etc) for thousands of years. Unless you're beliefs are based entirely on information you have received directly "from source" (i.e. God has communicated it to you directly), then all you are doing is putting a slant on what the existing religions have told you.

I follow a Nature based spirituality, and the closest label I've found is panentheism. I believe that Divinity is in all things, and in ourselves. I do trance work, which could fit under a number of labels. Most of my practices date back to my childhood, and were not learned from any outside sources. I'm far closer to pagan than Christian. |

That's very much like American Republicans: billionaires that don't pay any taxes and the workers that watch Fox news and have been convinced that their interests are the same as the billionaires.
