Nothing that eating 20 hot dogs and drinking a quart of bourbon couldn’t fix.

But he didn't cure that kid's illness? Lame. Maybe not, but the Great Bambino SURE lifted his spirits......that is, up until the selfish little brat went and DIED on him...... SAVE FERRIS

Nothing that eating 20 hot dogs and drinking a quart of bourbon couldn’t fix. Ruth must have been a hell of a specimen. You always read about talented players whose career was wrecked by booze. Mantle, Sam McDowell, Pete Alexander. But, other than 1925, the drinking never seemed to bother the Babe. Did it shave a couple years off his career, maybe. But not like Mickey Mantle or Sudden Sam.

But he didn't cure that kid's illness? Lame. He patted the little tyke in The Babe Ruth Story and he walked again. Bet Mike Trout couldn’t pull that off
