I hated The Raid films. I thought they were awful.
I don't like Evans' style. His movies just feel cheaply produced.

Those RAID flicks would’ve been good had the interminable fight scenes been cut down in length by at least half. They become repetitively boring pretty quick, especially when the fighters don’t seem to take any damage (or only do after five straight minutes of knees to the gut & kicks to the head). |

You can pretty much say the same thing about any martial arts movie out there. They have boring overly long, repetitive fight scenes. If you have seen one, you have seen them all. I've never been a big fan of martial arts films. There are only a handful of them that I like. |
