Skaathar doing the baffled by someone else on a film forum instead of doing the baffling for a change is fun to read on this thread. Now he knows how people having to respond to him have felt. The guy who didn't know Black Widow and Hawkeye were friends even after one of them sacrificed herself for the other is shocked someone gave Black Widow a 9.

5/10. Those rare moments when it was good saved it from a worse mark.

I jokingly gave it a ten earlier, but it’s actually more of a solid 6 or 7. I enjoyed rewatching it recently. The characters are all very likable, with Yelena and Red Guardian stealing the show. But overall, it’s nothing special and the third act really drops the ball. Bottom tier MCU.
Also, rewatching it made me wonder if studio interference altered the climax. Rachel Weis’ character seems to be very clearly set up as the villain. She even called in the baddies and had her “family” captured. Then we get these awkward little flashbacks to show she had a change of heart.

I liked the movie, but wanted it to be more grounded. She took too many bumps that would have been fine for the other heroes but should have killed her. I didn't want to watch a Tom Cruise movie
