I'm actually curious why so many people, even people with established youtube channels, consistently refer to Infinity War as Infinity Wars. It's not plural. It is Infinity War,,, without the s.
Are you specifically trying to refer to both Infinity War and Avengers 4 when you say wars? Is it just a mistake? I don't get it.

I think they say that because it was originally said to be a two-part series. That's not the case anymore, but old habits die hard.

No, there's one of them. Infinity War and Avengers 4, which will have a different name.

because for a while it was a two parter, titled infinity war part 1 and part2, soooooo infinity wars was born....that was for like 2-3 years, so the name stuck. I mean with batman v superman people complained "why is it a 'v' not 'vs'?" it's a minor thing and unimportant.

That is what the v stands for right?
We know at this point that it's just Infinity War and Avengers 4.
I mean I get what you're saying, sort of, but that's why I made this post, because there is just one Infinity War at this point.

yes the "v" means versus, but you know how people are. they're not part one and part two anymore, but until the 4th film gets a title it will still be called infinity wars.

I really wish I could even guess at the title. It's so hard to really know. I guess Infinity Gauntlet is out. Ummmmmmmmmmmmm, IDK. I really don't know. I feel like it has to be the title of a major story. Would they really call the first one Infinity War, and then the second title is completely made up? I'm just not sure about that.

I think it makes more sense to have it singular. It’s between Thanos and everyone else, that’s all.

Fun Fact: Fox asked Lucas to change the name of his film from The Star War.
