'Kiss Of The Dragon' (2001), like Sylvester Stallone's ultraviolent political actioner 'Rambo' (2008), and Walter Hill's crunching 'Bullet To The Head' (2012), took an old school approach to staging action. In part, this is thanks to Jet Li who worked with director Chris Nahon to reduce unnecessary CGI enhancements.
'Kiss Of The Dragon' was released in the summer of 2001 (July in the United States of America and early August in France). In France, movie fans still lament this action classic as being the loss of Bridget Fonda to genre cinema.
Check it out!

Apparently she did one more theatrical film called The Whole Shebang then she switched to tv movies, then retired.

I think he has a supporting role in 'Mulan' (2020).

These asian action stars mostly failed to establish themselves in the US. Chan and Li's American films were mediocre at best and nobody in the US cares about guys like Chow Yun-Fat and Donnie Yen. Yen can only manage supporting roles in the US.
Kiss of the Dragon was completely forgettable. Nothing special at all.

I thought Chris Nahon came up with Pierre Morel and Jean-Francois Richet.

It wasn't exactly a big hit.

Oh, I don't remember to be honest. I'm way behind the curve when it comes to studio advertising.
