Did you like Talia al Ghul as the Main Villain in "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES".....YES or NO ?

Not really. The actress wasn't bad, per say, but you could see the twist coming from a mile away and it made the whole thing very underwhelming.

No. Only a few things in that filmed worked for me. Talia was not one of them.

Not particularly. The script didn't exactly help her cause.

Maybe, I’m mixed on it. On one hand, it was pretty shocking at first, but then I realized how she was a forgettable character and didn’t have any buildup to her true motive. She just shows up and turns out to be Talia. Like I said before, I still love the movie, but there are lots of flaws to be nitpicked; this is one of them.

I didn't mind her presence in the story. But I hated the "twist". If we the audience knew she was in league with Bane from the beginning, that could have been more interesting, watching her work on Bruce Wayne or even make him distrusting of Catwoman. But throwing this last minute reveal twenty minutes in with a character who we really spent less time with than Catwoman was silly.

I'd say no. Twist was obvious and unnecessary, her plans didn't entirely make sense, and Marion's performance was dodgy (mainly in her death scene).

Well I do agree that she had a bad death scene performance but I myself never let 1 bad scene performance ruin an actor or actress's entire performance in a Movie or on a TV show overall. Outside of that 1 scene, I think that Marion Cotillard was Great in the Movie (especially in the scene where she stabs Batman, reveals herself as Talia al Ghul, and then explains to Batman her past history with Bane, Her Father, and The League of Shadows). Also when it comes to her plans, She was doing what she was doing to get revenge against Bruce Wayne/Batman for killing her father and to also finish her father's work which was to destroy Gotham City. That said....I do agree that the Twist with her was Obvious. I think that just about everybody saw it coming and it really didn't help either when a few months before the movie opened in theaters, those on-set photos of Marion Cotillard dressed in those Foreign Clothes came out.

Yes, but her father excommunicated her and Bane, and they didn't seem to get along much in general, which kind of puts a damper on her revenge motives.

"I could not forgive my father.....until you murdered him" - Talia al Ghul Having her say it out loud doesn't make it any more sensible to me. I also don't understand why her and Bane didn't just blow up the city, besides keeping the movie going another hour. What does the "false hope" stuff have to do with Ra's peaceful motivations? That's another reason I don't like TDKR, it's the most comic book-y of the three, and not in a good way.

Liked Marion Cotillard, but wish they didn’t go there. I mean, I knew they were. But it was misguided. Didn’t feel in sync with the presented story.
