Neither are real. Christianity, like all religions, is a false consciousness inside a spiritual club house. However, there are people who actually do the hard work Jesus, a 1st century, one of many messiahs, told them to do if they wanted to share in Christ’s (aka the Messiah’s) mission to practice lovingkindness in the face of a coming annihilation.
And some do not hold a Christian membership. All those folks can rightly call themselves “Christians.” The CHRISTIANS, generally do not follow Jesus, therefore do not share his mission.
