tonight at the grocery-store?
You may ask me one-question-at-a-time except for title and artist. You can only give one-answer-at-a-time and then must wait for either three others to ask a question and/or to give an answer. Or you can ask or answer after twenty-four hours has passed regardless. Ends when the correct answer is given. Good luck...
Solved by mrellaguru, congratulations!!! The answer is "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" by Paul McCartney (and his late wife Linda).

What genre, (rock, pop, country, etc...)? It was released in the early 1970s and is rock/pop (soft to medium rock).

Rainy Days and Mondays by the Carpenters. No, as you'll see/read when you find-out the answer...this person is WAY MORE FAMOUS than The Carpenters.

Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey wasn't a Wings song, but a Paul McCartney song before he formed Wings.

So, I guess I can assume that this song is attributed to a single artist/singer and not to a band such as Cream or Led Zeppelin. Since this artist was famous as you said, I can assume it was not a "one-hit-wonder". My question....what year was this song released?

Oops! So it's already solved? This is ridiculous, how could anyone guess that out of thin air? I cry foul!
