Going by order of release date(IV, V, VI, I, II, III, VII, VIII, IX), What was the first lightsaber duel where the victor wielded a Blue lightsaber?
Can you answer without looking it up?

My guess is it’s ObiWan versus Darth Maul, episode I. Ah! Well I flunked on that guess! Well I have only one guess left (still without looking this up)… Anakin vs. Count Dooku, their second duel, (third if you count the Clone Wars animated movie, at least seventh if you also count the animated series) episode III.

As the previous poster said, Episode II.
Unless you count Obi-Wan willfully becoming one with the Force in Episode IV.
That was certainly not a win by Darth Vader. It was either a win by Obi-Wan or a forfeit.
Unless I'm mistaken, did Obi-Wan have his own blue lightsaber in Episode IV in addition to Anakin's blue lightsaber that he gave to Luke?
Because when Vader dropped Obi-Wan -- or Obi-Wan dropped himself -- his blue lightsaber was still there, and obviously Luke didn't get that lightsaber because they were totally separated across the length of the hangar bay deck.
Assuming, of course, that Obi-Wan's own lightsaber in Episode IV was also blue.

He gave Anakin's lightsaber (which has a different design other than the blue blade) to Luke and held onto his own, which is the same one he had in III. Interesting that it took 6 movies for an unambiguous blue win, but RotS certainly made up for lost time by having the most lightsaber duels and almost exclusively all blue wins.

I'm neither giving nor getting the joke! Please do fill me in! Update: Well, Anakin's former owner is blue -- "Patience, my blue friend." -- so is there a clue there? Or a joke?
