We're 4 episodes into the 2nd season and I've neither seen, heard, or read anything about it, which is weird for a show that features the return of a live action Green Lantern. Anyone watching or planning on watching? What do you think so far?

Yep, I watch it and enjoy it. It’s a fun little show that doesn’t get a lot of attention. The CW makes alotta superhero shows. I think Stargirl is their best.

First I've heard of it. I've liked some CW shows in the past but they've gotten too dumb.

This show is downright fun! It does multi episode or a whole season arc without it becoming a padded out slog. I stopped watching Flash because the arc and subplots dragged at a snails pace.
I don't know of a show that balances so many characters so well as far as screen time and character development. Both the heroes and villains. And the special fx aren't bad at all for a superhero show.
Eclipso's make up fx and costume were superb. And I loved how they made him run out of the school after the first battle there. He dashed out super fast on all fours like a wild animal and even roared. Great use of CGI. I have to mention what Thunderbolt and Jamal did to Eclipso is hilarious, even more because it was unintentional/another example of how literal Thunderbolt grants wishes and how precise Jamal has to be.
Brec Bassinger could have a huge career ahead of her. It remains to be seen. But she reminds me a lot of a young Sally Field on The Flying Nun and especially Gidget. (Reruns were on tv when I was growing up).
The actress that plays Cindy Burman is terrific and fun to watch. Beautiful, fun to hate and also root for. She's a tragic one. And I love that she'll be a member of the JSA next season but I don't see that lasting for long.
What a great/interesting idea to have the Crocks move right next door to the Whitmores. Should generate some great laughs. Speaking of, I did not expect much from Zeke when he was introduced. In fact I didn't think we'd ever see him after that. Glad I was wrong. He's hilarious and I look forward to every second of screen time he gets.
The same goes for The Shade. Really surprised he will be sticking around but am glad. He's funny but what a great anti hero villain. He's described perfectly in the show; he's a villain, a bad guy...but not evil, not like Eclipso or Brainwave. His theme music is amusing.
Those are the standouts for me. I do hope Jade (Jennie) and Obsidian will permanently join the team/cast by the end of next season. And I was completely expecting Starman to be an evil shapeshifter or doppleganger but looks like he's the real deal.
Excited to learn how he survived and why he decided to stay dead/lay low for so long.

I meant to post this last time but ended up going on about how much I like this show that surprisingly gets little fanfare or notice compared to other CW DC shows.
Are there any long, long time DC readers on here? Did anyone else notice the nod or easter egg to Chroma in episode 10 when Courtney and Pat walk into the Helix Institute for Youth Rehabilitation?
A Helix attendant is guiding a teenage boy into the building and the boy is wearing a jacket with a little rainbow patch on the arm. We only see him for a second or two.
That's Chroma, or at least the show's version of the character. The way the actor moved and held his head gave me the impression they were going for autistic. Just something about it. I wonder if they will do more with him in S3 or leave it at this easter egg.
at the 0:10 or 11 seconds mark

I've never read an issue of INFINITY INC. but I know all about them from going through my issues of WHO'S WHO IN THE DC UNIVERSE countless times. As a kid I discovered and bought the whole series cheap at the at the flea market. Later years bought all the update series' as well. Stargirl's team is called the JSA but its membership its really based on Infinity Inc. from the comics. In rhe comics Sylvester actually became Skyman. I really like that the show simplified things by making him like an amalgam of Skyman, the golden age Starman Ted Knight and his son Jack Knight and didn't just ignore Sylvester completely. Anyway, in the comics an alien called Chroma shows up and and encounters Infinity Inc. a couple of different times. He has chalk white skin and hair, red eyes, a rainbow costume and has hypnotic/in a trance/mind controlling powers when he sings his alien song. He's kind of portrayed as misunderstood and just wanted to sing his cosmic song or whatever but his hypnotic song causes havoc. One Infinity Inc.cover shows the team warning one of their own members, Obsidian, to leave him alone and let him sing. While looking for pics for this post I ran across another villain more recently using the name Chroma. I think the Flash villain Rainbow Raider changed his costume and name, now going by Chroma. But the one I'm talking about has always been assoiciated with Infinity Inc. Making him an (I think autistic) teenager at the Helux Institute works so much better in the show than the albino alien comic version. Its a neat easter egg and like I said, I wonder if they will do more wth him.

Chroma interrupts a televised concert with a song about apocalyptic events. The song, though talking about death, somehow proves so engaging, many people desire to hear it again and again.
Not everyone is affected in the same way. Obsidian, one of the 'Infinitors', having just come off a bad date, finds himself uninvolved with the song. Wishing to confront Chroma, he finds himself battling his own friends. He manages to stop Chroma but is, in turn, stopped personally by his very own super-powered sister Jade.
It turns out Chroma is one of many duplicates of the same entity who tests out their apocalypse songs on many worlds. Obsidian manages to defeat him in their first confrontation, though Chroma claims it was because his attentions were diverted to another event happening on the far side of the galaxy.
Chroma further states that if Obsidian had managed to attack him a second time, Chroma would have let this earth-form die, thus preventing humanity from ever forgetting his song.
Chroma decides to leave and claims it will be for a million years, after which he will return with a new song. However, it now seems that he never left Earth at all and instead remained in hiding for some reason.
In Justice Society of America (vol. 3) #10, Chroma is slain by Gog, a being responsible for the death of former Teen Titan villain Goth. Gog's desire is to kill all self-proclaimed false gods to make way for himself. In the following issue, his death is investigated by the F.B.I.. An agent who touches the body has his hair go white and he becomes deaf and blind. Whether this is an indication that Chroma still lives or not remains to be seen.
