Spanish Catholic Bishop Resigns After….(Read On)

A few weeks ago Spanish Bishop Xavier Novell Gomá announced he was resigning from the Catholic Church. At 41 he became the youngest Bishop in Spain and now at 52 he is still one of the youngest so this is a loss for the church.
Why did he resign? His political activism? Some scandal? He only said it was “for strictly personal reasons.” Ah, but now we know. He stepped down because he fell in love with a divorced woman who writes erotic fiction with a Satanic twist.
He is in a relationship with Silvia Caballol, a 38-year-old psychologist and writer of books like “The Hell Of Gabriel's Lust” and the erotic trilogy “Amnesia.”
It is great that he chose love and companionship over celibacy and the single life. Good for him. The erotic fiction really doesn’t matter but it does make it better. Sort of like the cheery on top of the banana split.
