Juice Landry ~ "Sneakerhead" ⛸
"Jarvis Landry stepped into a 1-31 quagmire when he was traded to the Browns in March 2018. Less than five months later, he snapped. During training camp, Landry let loose in the receivers room in what is now known as the “Hard Knocks” speech. Captured on the HBO series, now-five-time Pro Bowler Landry blasted his new teammates for sitting out when they weren’t seriously hurt, which meant more reps and more chances for injury for others. He told them if their hamstring wasn’t falling off the bone or their leg wasn’t broken, they should be practicing. He emphasized that was the reason the Browns had been through two seasons of unprecedented misery. He said he was hurt and tired, but wasn’t taking any days off because he couldn’t be great that way. He emphasized that the Browns had to get rid of that attitude, concluding such weakness “don’t (expletive) live here no more ... It’s contagious.” In 97 seconds, Landry dropped 23 f-bombs, used the s-word 10 times, and threw in another expletive for good measure. Looking back three years later, the moment feels like the spark that set the Browns’ culture change in motion."

Amari Cooper : Old School Gamer 🎲
"While at the University of Alabama, Amari Cooper learned he didn't have to choose between football and his hobbies. Naturally, he’s fully committed to elevating his game in pursuit of a Super Bowl. But he reconnected with chess in college, spent three weeks learning to solve a Rubik's Cube while with the Raiders and is currently teaching himself Spanish. “That makes me be consistent and persistent to learn them,” Cooper said. “I’m practicing being great at things you can’t do overnight.” Cooper uses the same mental acumen he flexes to master Rubik’s Cube algorithms or anticipate an opponent’s chess move to outwit defenders — decoding coverage schemes by analyzing how a DB is angling his hips or directing his hands. Cooper then chooses which route to run accordingly. “With my position, you have to kind of be three steps ahead of your opponent,” Cooper says. “He might think you’re going to hit him with something you hit him with earlier, but you’re really going to hit him with something different.”

Stefon Diggs : Freestyler 🛼
"I first met Stefon Diggs at A Ma Maniere’s BAPE x adidas launch event in Atlanta during the weekend of Super Bowl LIII. We were running around, interviewing various adidas ambassadors to get their take on the hyped camouflaged UltraBOOST that dropped that Saturday, and he was the only one that asked us to get on the mic — more often than not, it’s the other way around. Stefon walked in confidently, dressed exceptionally better than his cohorts, and immediately began offering his two cents on the sneaker. He was intrigued by the notion of collaboration, from the streetwear sense, and that elusive sweet spot where both brands “meet in the middle” and the resulting product melds both ethos into one cohesive design."

NFL Receivers
Animals are a feature of American sports teams' iconography. In the NFL for example, there's often battles of the birds. Cats are currently held up by the Cincinnati Bengals, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Detroit Lions and the Carolina Panthers. NFL players identified as wide receivers seem to be compared to cats more than those playing in other on-field positions. Having said that, even the big men are known for being nimble. Offensive tackle and Pro Football Hall Of Famer Rayfield Wright (Dallas Cowboys) was nicknamed the 'Big Cat' in his day. In today's game, collegiate defensive end Markaviest Bryant apparently flies under the moniker, 'Big Kat'.
"The biggest play at the University of Miami-Appalachian State University football game Saturday night happened in the stands, where spectators banded together to save a feline fan. Video from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens showed the cat dangling from an upper deck, where it apparently clung by its claws to some type of fabric on the railing. At least one person reached down to help, but the cat plummeted to the seats below. Thankfully, the careening kitty was caught by fans who held a U.S. flag as a makeshift rescue tarp. The flag belonged to season ticket holder Craig Cromer and his wife, Kimberly, NBC Miami reported. Cromer, a University of Miami facilities manager, told the station that he and his wife untied the flag from the railing when they saw the cat clinging above them. "They were trying to grab it from above and they couldn't reach it, but they were scaring it downward," Cromer said. "It hung there for a little while with its two front paws, then one paw, then I was like, 'Oh, my goodness, it's coming soon.'" Multiple videos were shared online, showing a stadium full of fans riveted by the ordeal. Cheers erupted once the cat appeared to be safely rescued, and Miami went on to win the game."

Stefon Diggs has been carving out a career for himself as an industrial catch machine. Some of the league's most impressive catchers include wide receivers Chris Godwin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Kenny Golladay (Detroit Lions / New York Giants) and Tyler Lockett (Seattle Seahawks). They have strong hand-eye coordination.
Catchers
Cat Piano (Catcher's Mitt)
For years, veteran receiver Larry Fitzgerald has been adjusting his game to remain at the top of his game, and he's known as one of the best blockers in the business. Jarvis Landry is another receiver known for his ability to throw blocks having once taken out multiple targets domino style. Some of the league's active blockers include A.J. Brown (Tennessee Titans), Allen Lazard (Green Bay Packers) and Allen Robinson (Jacksonville Jaguars / Chicago Bears).
Crackback Blockers
Cats And Dominoes
Amari Cooper has shown the clear benefits of playing puzzles and board games when it comes to devising creative routes and executing trick plays in the NFL. Keenan Allen (San Diego-Los Angeles Chargers) has been called the grandmaster of route running. Calvin Ridley (Atlanta Falcons) and Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers) are two more of the league's sharpest, multi-pronged attackers.
Catlike Reflexes
Cats And Dogs
One thing that binds Amari Cooper, Stefon Diggs and Jarvis Landry together is their catlike agility. They can hold their nerve under pressure and are willing to absorb big hits in the name of ball protection. Tyreek Hill (Kansas City Chiefs), nicknamed 'Cheetah', is an elite runner in terms of speed, stamina, skill and ball handling. DK Metcalf (Seattle Seahawks), Odell Beckham Jr. (New York Giants / Cleveland Browns) and DeAndre Hopkins (Houston Texans / Arizona Cardinals) frequently combine raw power with gymnastic ability on the football field.

🏉 'Steppin' Up In The Clutchzone' : Stefon Diggs, Jarvis Landry & Amari Cooper ... 🥏
Naturally, I was devastated that Jarvis Landry couldn't come to terms with the Cleveland Browns over a new contract this summer, but delighted to see him switch conferences and join his home state team, the New Orleans Saints. His fellow Louisianan Tyrann Mathieu also came over to the Saints from the Kansas City Chiefs. Coach Dennis Allen now has another locker room leader and a consummate sports professional to get to work with.
After 2 games played, Jarvis Landry has amassed 139 crucial yards for the Saints!
The Cleveland Browns are missing Jarvis Landry in the slot. With Austin Hooper leaving and David Njoku playing higher up the field, tight end Harrison Bryant might be needed in the slot if he can gain yards after a hard contact catch like Landry. The organisation drafted David Bell who might provide a long-term solution.
On the other hand, the Browns secured the services of Amari Cooper when it became clear the Dallas Cowboys were going to stick to their guns and trade him. So, I couldn't be happier. Coach Kevin Stefanski has placed great faith in Donovan Peoples-Jones to work with Cooper to fill the void left by Landry and the long-departed Odell Beckham Jr., perhaps in part because he can develop his game on the training field working with one of the most imaginative route runners in football.
After 3 games played, Amari Cooper has run for 219 yards and scored 2 touchdowns for the Browns!
Meanwhile, Stefon Diggs has stayed put in Buffalo where he's been embraced by Bills fans who know he leaves everything out on the field. He's even an active cheerleader on the sideline, whipping the crowd in to a frenzy to give his teammates some extra juice. Coach Sean McDermott knows Giggs has a special kind of chemistry with quarterback Josh Allen and a dynamic partner in young Gabe Davis.

I had my doubts about Diggs when he came to Buffalo. He was the veteran WR that Allen needed. But he had a reputation for belittling his QB if he overthrew and Allen did that a lot at the time. But he has been great and is becoming one of my all time favorite Bills player. his attitude has been perfect, he bonded with Allen from Day One and he has racked up the catches. He's even modified his role. Diggs is more of the possession receiver since Gabe Davis has become the deep threat. And he is awesome with the fans. We watched him on the sidelines Monday night and he was always interacting withe the crown when the Bills were on defense. And he wasn't forced, he really looked like he was enjoying every minute. I haven't bought a Bills jersey since Doug Flutie (I wore my Shane Conlan #58 Monday) but I might have to get a #14 before the next game we go to

You're the biggest Bills fan I know now Kevin Cadle's no longer with us. Journalist Wolfhound Blitzer too.
You should definitely buy a Stefon Diggs shirt if you can afford it (hard times for everyone at the moment). One of the reasons I'm a Diggs fan is because I find him funny in interviews, another is because he's a style icon! He worked with Coach Kevin Stefanski in Minneapolis. In fact, Diggs said some really nice things about Stefanski when he got the head coaching role in Cleveland, that he liked him on a personal level, and that Stefanski liked players to have fun as long as they maintained hard work and discipline. I don't forget that. In an interview for the NFL, where he was sat with Joe Thomas, Diggs also said some nice things about Kirk Cousins, but he's a straight-shooter.
Maybe I can buy an Amari Cooper shirt to go wth my Cleveland Browns hat.

Been a Bills fan for all my life. Since the days of Joe Ferguson, Fred Smerlas, Joe DeLamielleure, even that RB who wore #32. Rooted for them through the days of Vince Ferregamo, JP Losman, EJ Manuel, Aaron Maybin, Mario Williams etc. I haven't bought a more recent jersey for two reasons. Everyone at the stadium has a #17 or #14 (Von Miller's #40 is moving up the list). I still have my Shane Conlan, Andre Reed, Darryl Talley, Thurman Thomas jerseys and I stick out. And I remember people buying EJ Manuel, Trent Edwards, Sammy Watkins jerseys. Bet they are getting moth eaten in the closets. My wife bought an EJ #3 jersey. Made her but a #17 because she wasn't wearing the #3 to any game.

I was a teenager when Coach Marv Levy's Bills were a dominant force in the NFL. He turned 97 in August. They were such an unlucky team. I remember the Denver Broncos had a lot of heartbreak around that time, but they also beat the Browns in 3 AFC Championship games (my main man Bernie Kosar eventually won a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys). And the Detroit Lions made the NFC Championship game but lost.

Might be time for you to buy that Stefon Diggs jersey before they all sell out! Diggs was awarded man of the game last night when the Buffalo Bills engaged with divisional rivals the New England Patriots.
