If you could select 7 of these popular breakfast foods to enjoy on each of 7 mornings with a tasty beverage of your choice, while spending a week in a small rural hotel in Clermont-Ferrand, France, near the volcanic Chaine Des Puys mountains, which 7 would you choose?
Or, perhaps you'd prefer to have some foods on multiple days, or to eat the same food every day.
Please select.
Thanks!

Croissants for me with a cup of decaf. (I can't handle caffeinated coffee anymore, I tried some 2 days ago and I was agitated the whole day.)

Pancakes, waffles, maybe bread rolls if unbuttered and not sourdough. A donut once or twice, depending on what type.

coffee, fruit, cereal, YOGURT! Pancakes one morning, eggs another and bacon. This'd do me across the entire seven mornings, thank you very much. What an unhealthy heathen, but hey I'm on a trip, hopefully a holiday/vacation and I want to enjoy myself.

Toast is the closest that I could handle for 7 days. I might have toast ... a rustic, crusty bread ... 3 times a week. And, then, I have it in some combination with; eggs, fruit, yogurt, "other."
I'm not partial to very "bready" breakfasts. However, a fun pastry, and coffee from my corner deli, on a Sunday, is something that I enjoy with the Sunday crossword puzzles.

If I'm in France the whole time, I'm going with croissants. My breakfast of choice when I did study abroad in Nice - a croissant and a cup of coffee.
