Youâre going to see more and more of these stupid jerseys in baseball. Like Boston âMustard Manâ getup and the Cubs ââWrigleyvilleâ clown suits. MLB will want the income from people buying this crap. Jersey sales havenât been what they were.

As some mentioned it has to do with the Boston marathon and also Patriots Day, which is a holiday in Massachusetts. As a Red Sox fan, I'm not against them wearing it every once in a while. It's fine to shake things up. I definitely don't want to see it become a permanent thing though.

They are set to give more alts to a few new teams every year. They have it planned out already. The Yankees will do it eventually.
