Not true, Hurtsy - you've gotta study this deuce and learn from it. It's a learning experience.

Can’t you see a situation where Ben sucks this year and says something along the lines of “I let my guys down last year, I gotta keep playing and make things right” and the Steelers do this all over again next season? Shut your mouth. This year is definitely as far as it goes. He signed a "two year" contract, but the second year is team controlled. I think they are already looking for their exit plan this year. Given truth serum, I think they'd like to get him his 400th passing touchdown (he has 399) and then move on - - but it would be to Mason Rudolph instead of Haskins (Rudolph is the one getting the helmet so far this year as the backup). I was the driver of the "get Matt Stafford" bandwagon but recognized that might be impossible with how up against the cap the Steelers were this offseason. But I also was clamoring for Jameis (both in 2020 and 2021), Darnold, and Trubisky. I was absolutely right on the first and arguably right on Winston and Darnold too. Here is the QB passer rating through three weeks for QBs who have enough passes to qualify: 26. Carson Wentz 27. Andy Dalton 28. Davis Mills 29. Mac Jones 30. Ben Roethlisberger 31. Jacoby Brissett 32. Trevor Lawrence 33. Zach Wilson Four rookies, two back-ups (Dalton was always going to be the back-up), and the battered Wentz with two bad ankles. It's an ignominious end to a career.

Jags trade DB CJ Henderson to the Panthers in exchange for TE Dan Arnold. I think this is a good deal for the Panthers, Henderson is a talented player and their secondary is banged up. I’m surprised the Jags gave away Henderson given that he was their first pick last year.

Eagles rookie punter Arryn Siposs is tied for the league lead for longest punt of the year
He's also tied for 3rd for most punts placed inside the opponents 20 yard line
Get it!
I like it.
I do.
Congrats Arryn!

As you can imagine, the number of "let's get Deshaun Watson" posts on Steelers sites is up 1000% since Sunday.

Surely he will provide the stability they need right now. He heard about Kansas City's famed "smoky" BBQ and signed without hesitation.

Brutal. Shades of 2020 3 of our starting 5 offensive lineman now out 1st Pro Bowler OG Brandon Brooks, then LT Stud Jordan Mailata Now OG Isaac Seumalo is done for the year
** not to mention on the defensive side of the ball we've already lost Pro Bowl DE Brandon Graham for the year

I'm really disappointed in the Giants
Thought Dougie Jones would take the next step and Saquon who I regarded as the best back in the game has done jacksh*t

Maybe our teams can compete in the hypothetical “if only we were fully healthy” Super Bowl?

lol...
Judge does have an odd resemblance to DJ.
That being said, I agree with you. This is a little surprising. I do think they have some talented players, they're supposed to beat the Falcons at home. I thought they had a chance to win the lowly NFC east division this year but now they look pretty bad. And to top it off, fans want Jason Garret relieved of duties as the play caller. haha...
The shit is really hitting the fan in NY.

Colts Owner Jim Irsay hates Wentzy because he's an Anti-Vaxxer -
States there's been some 'difficulties'. Oof.
This may be a short marriage -
Irsay this past Friday -
“I know he wants to go,” Irsay said. “I know how hard he’s worked. I know he’s respected in the locker room and all those sorts of things. But he has to stay healthy—no one’s hiding behind the M.O. of the past that was there. Since we came here and have been going through the months we’ve gone through, there’s been difficulties.
“It also makes it difficult if you’re not vaccinated because it’s harder to depend on someone if they’re not vaccinated. They have freedom of choice, and we understand that, but we are hoping he can come back and play well. I think it’ll be a game-time decision.”

Surely he will provide the stability they need right now. I'm not sure what Martavis Bryant did to somebody in the offices of the NFL, but I'm curious why Gordon has gotten five chances since the last time Bryant had one. Unless Bryant just said, "no, I'm good".

Richard Sherman to Buccaneers.
Can teams successfully try him with mediocre receivers at this point?
