Vikings are interviewing Jim Harbaugh.
Once the Ravens got Michigan's defensive coordinator to become their coordinator, it made me think that Harbaugh is halfway out the door.

I think Harbaugh might be a good hire for the Vikings, Harbaugh has coached good defenses at Michigan and the Vikings need to improve their defense, and Harbaugh has been a decent coach everywhere he’s gone, he finally got over the hump at Michigan and got them to the playoffs. I dislike Harbaugh as a person but I think he could have success at Minnesota, as they have a lot of talented pieces.

Yeah he seems to have trouble 'winning the big one,' and personally I find him obnoxious as hell, but if you want results on the field you can do a lot worse than Jim Harbaugh.

London considering a bid to host the 2026 Super Bowl at Tottenham Stadium. Eh, what difference does it make? It’s not like regular fans can afford to go anyway. If you’re rich, it’s not much different from flying cross-country NY to LA or vice versa. 8pm local time start? 3pm Eastern, noon west coast? That’s only selling me more.

They always get stuck with games like the Jags vs. Texans
I'm embarrassed at the product we send over there year after year
Imagine if they sent their 2 worst soccer teams over here every year for an extravaganza?
I wouldn't necessarily flock to the product either and think it blows

And just think of all the drunken arguments you could get in with the locals regarding 'Merican football vs football.

We don’t need to take football overseas, and we certainly don’t need the Super Bowl being played in the afternoon. When a European nation brings one of their soccer league finales over to America, then I’ll be more open to having a Super Bowl overseas. But not until then. Keep the Super Bowl in America!!

I mean sure, the NFL wants to maximize its viewership and wants that Sunday night prime time slot, but you and I both know that hardcore football fans will be watching the Super Bowl even if it starts at 4am and is hosted on the Moon. As far as European soccer leagues go, it's not an apt comparison - those leagues don't play any games in America and certainly aren't debating adding an American team to their competition. The NFL has played games in London for years, is continuing its European expansion with Germany, and there's constant speculation/discussion about London getting an NFL team.

I'll add that the only issue I can see (and I do mean only) is that none of the stadiums in London has a fully retractable roof - and if you know anything about England, it's that the weather isn't exactly reminiscent of a tropical paradise at the best of times. Early February? Oof.

Packers apparently ready to spend close to their salary cap to get Qaren Rodgers to come back.
If he does, he deserves absolutely 0 sympathy when the Pack don’t win the Super Bowl yet again.

How are they going to do this? They have the second worst cap situation in the league - - $48 million over next year's cap. They would have to gut the team to make this happen - - and he hasn't shown he can make it happen when he has all of the players already.

Chris Mortensen reporting that the Colts will probably trade or release Carson Wentz prior to the start of the new league year.
A first round draft pick for a one-year rental? Brutal.
If it happens, Colts will have a fifth straight year of having a different leading passer: Luck, Brissett, Rivers, Wentz, ?.
It's the most under discussed what if in football: what would the Colts have been if Luck was still quarterback? Luck and Johnathan Taylor? He only played one year with Quentin Nelson and Darrius Leonard.
