Cuz when chris rock was on with his part of the show, they only gave him about half the time on . Compared to the white cast on the show. He even talks about it right here.

Eddie Murphy got more than his fair share of time, so maybe it has to do with popularity and not race. So, no SNL was never a racist TV show.
