My Lovely Wife and I hope to see the Museum this fall or, failing that, next spring. I have been following the progress of Museum for about 3 years. I had seen a 1948 film called "Pitfall" and was wasting time trying to locate some of the modern day Los Angeles locations where the film was shot. One screen grab shows a large department store in the background. It was the May Company store at 6067 Wilshire Boulevard. Further investigation found that the façade of the building would be incorporated with new construction for the Museum. That was the first I had heard of it. Of course, progress was halted for most of 2020. The opening date was pushed back three or four times. The auto, BTW, is a 1948 Studebaker Commander and a real beauty.
