Bro has become an anti-vaxxer. Where he works, Boeing, is going to can his ass if he doesn't get a jab by December. Bro stubbornly refuses - is married but apparently he prefers to lose his job instead of getting a jab. I've tried to convince him, I've had two jabs and haven't died, or suddenly been attracted to magnetic fields. š¤Ŗ But he's being a stubborn jackass.
Is there any hope for him or do I just kill him out of principle?

Speak your peace and then let him make his decision. You tried. That's all any of us can do.

I've had the same thing happen with one of my family members where they actually ended up contracting COVID and still didn't want to get vaccinated. To start I'd say you should find some sort of monetary wager you can make to shake him out of his complacency. I don't know If that doesn't work, I only have one idea left and I wish I had a better one but I'm going to say it anyways because I don't. Compare COVID to some of the worst diseases of the past. Pretend like COVID is smallpox or some other nasty disease of the past and ask him if he were his ancestor making decisions for him what he would choose to do.

What is his objection to getting vaccinated?

I've heard one possible approach to that sort of situation is focus on a part of the issue where you agree. In this case, I'd assume you both share a desire for him to keep his job so he can continue to support his family. So focus on that. Don't talk to him about getting vaccinated. Talk to him about keeping his job. Talk about doing what's necessary to keep it, even if it's something he'd rather not do. Maybe talk about how it could be difficult to find another job at the same pay.
I doubt it will work, but it's all I can think of.

Maybe try telling him he couldnāt even get a job at Fox News without being vaccinated. Seriously, itāll be hard as a new hire getting hired on anywhere if unvaccinated without a valid medical or religious reason (and not just some vague ā because the Bible tells me soā excuse while popping every over the counter or prescription drug under the sun).
Guess he could go work at the type of mom and pop outfit (insert type of business here) that refuses service to masked and vaccinated people. Not sure if Uber or DoorDash require their drivers to be vaccinated.
Canāt imaging going from Boeing to a permanent side gig life š Is this really the hill he wants to die on? If so, what a waste.

If he were my brother I'd talk to him. But if you do, you need to listen to him and understand his reasons for not getting vaccinated, so try not to interrupt, or be critical or judgemental. If you react like an asshole when he talks to you, you'll lose him and it will all be for nothing. If you don't think you can talk to him without being tempted to give an asshole response, then don't try - he probably gets enough of these already!
(Edit) BTW isn't "anti-vaxxer" a general term, to describe somebody who is opposed to ALL vaccinations per se? I'm a bit disturbed as to why the term has been requisitioned to apply those who are reluctant to get the Covid jab (for whatever reason) but are fine with all other vaccinations and have had shots for everything else.
