Did DC_Fan have a heart attack when he read this title?
Sorry, I need a little humor in my day.

He still hasn't commented on Joss Whedon being chosen to direct Batgirl. It's fucking hilarious.

Did DC_Fan have a heart attack when he read this title? Sorry, I need a little humor in my day. I knew this could never be true because Brady's probably a Captain America fan. After all, Steve Rogers (the skinny kid who couldn't pass the physical to get into the Army) got into the Army by taking an experimental super PED.
But seriously, one question that I've never gotten an answer to from MCU fans:
DC has the Justice League. The name "Justice League" implies that they're fighting for justice. MCU has the Avengers. The name "Avengers" implies that they're fighting for vengeance or revenge. So what exactly are they getting vengeance or revenge for?
I've always thought that fighting for justice is a more noble cause than fighting for vengeance or revenge. But that's just me. Maybe MCU fans feel that getting vengeance or revenge is more important than getting justice. But what exactly are they getting vengeance or revenge for?

The same sort of wrong doing that the Justice League is getting justice for. Duh. The Justice League sounds like a bunch of lawyers. The name Avengers is more action orientated with a hint of danger. Way cooler.

I have a question:
Why the living f*** do people care about "DC Vs Marvel?" Why cant people just enjoy both fn franchises, I dont get the "DC is superior...nah uh, Marvel is...NAH UH...DC IS...NO MARVEL IS...NO DC..NO MARVEL..NO DC."
Who cares, just enjoy them both, my god. I never understood this, I DO UNDERSTAND people who mess with fanboys like DC-fan though, continue on!

They're just names you retard. They both fight villains trying to destroy/take over the world. There is no vengeance component, despite the name. Just because you think something implies something doesn't make it so. You've made this argument before and it's still just as stupid. Avengers is just a good name. Justice League sounds like something made up by nerds at law school.

Way cooler. Nope. Fighting for justice is way cooler than fighting for vengeance or revenge. Only nerds, Sith Lords, and Freddy Kreuger fight for revenge. A true hero fights for truth, justice, and the American way.

I answered the question that so vexed you, cupcake. At least have the common courtesy to acknowledge it. It sounds like it was consuming an inordinate amount of your time. You should be relieved to finally get it resolved so you can move on to more important super hero dilemmas ... like how does Superman change into his super suit now that there are no more phone booths to duck into?
Is that what the nice policeman visiting your school told your class? Also, say no to drugs.
If you prefer your superheroes to be clean cut all-American do-gooders with no moral ambiguity or doubt, that's just fine and dandy. What children think is cool and what adults think is cool are often entirely different.
How many super hero action figures do you own, BTW?

A true hero fights for truth, justice, and the American way. When do The Avengers ever fight for revenge? Was their fight against Loki about revenge? Or Ultron? Or that HYDRA base at the beginning of AoU? Just for kicks, I looked up 'superheroes getting revenge' and found that Batman tortured Joe Chill (guy who killed Bruce's parents) into killing himself. Not for justice obviously, for revenge. Once again you have painted yourself into a corner of hypocrisy with your pathetic fanboyism.

When do The Avengers ever fight for revenge? What do you think the word "avenge" means? It means to get vengeance or revenge. So the very name "Avengers" imply that they're fighting for vengeance or revenge. Like I said before, I've always that thought that fighting for justice is more noble than fighting for vengeance or revenge, but that's just me. If you MCU fans prefer fighting for vengeance or revenge instead of justice, then that's your thing.

If you MCU fans prefer fighting for vengeance or revenge instead of justice, then that's your thing. You're just repeating yourself now. The name may 'imply' that to you, but their actions suggest otherwise. When have they done anything for vengeance? I don't know about the comics, but they never sought revenge in the movies - it's just a name Fury/SHIELD came up with because it sounds good. Batman sadistically tortured a man into killing himself. Justice would have been making sure he went to prison. But you don't seem to want to comment on that, just like you won't comment on Joss Whedon directing Batgirl LOLOLOL.
