Would anyone else like to see a Halloween anthology TV series? It won’t have Michael Myers, but it explores other stories surrounding Haddonfield.
What does everyone think?

Actually that is more or less what the Halloween movie series was originally supposed to be, Carpenter wanted each movie to be a different story, but after Halloween 3 tanked, they went back to Michael Myers.

That's a shame.

Well, originally Halloween was a one and done. Carpenter didn't get the anthology idea until the third movie, and by then it was already a franchise about Michael. If Halloween II followed a different story, maybe it would have worked better. Anyhow, I wouldn't mind an anthology show, but why confine it to Haddonfield? It's supposed to be a normal town outside of Michael.

It should be an analogy series but at the opening each week Michael Comes out and kills the jack-o-lantern in a different creative way and then stares at the camera.

It should be a Scooby Doo style sitcom and every week they unmask the killer...and it's Michael Myers every single time. "Ah ha! It was Myers who brutally murdered those teenagers! Just like last week and the week before!"

Here's a better idea: don't do an anthology TV series and come up with something original.
