What could top Infinity War/Endgame?
Any movie/franchise/idea at all! MCU, DCEU, Star Wars, Avatar, something new, anything!
X-Men in the MCU maybe?

If I had to limit it to superhero movies, then I'd go with whenever DC gets its shit straight and adapts a live action Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Nothing i know of, so we know marvel won't come out with anything that good again.
But it won't release anything terrible either. Marvel is destined for mediocrity.

What could top Infinity War/Endgame? Any movie/franchise/idea at all! MCU, DCEU, Star Wars, Avatar, something new, anything! X-Men in the MCU maybe? Avatar 4 could have the potential to do so. When it comes out almost everyone will want to see it, as it doesn’t have the stigmas of “comic book movie” or “superheroes” or once again reusing IP’s invented in the middle of the previous century. And with the sequels coming out in succession, as long as they’re well received, they should do better and better at the BO until the culmination. As Avengers did, as Harry Potter did, as LotR did. Star Wars I feel has negatively impacted its pop culture stock, no more apparent than The Last Jedi making 60% of what Force Awakens did. I feel similarly to the DCEU, disassociating their characters now and seemingly rebooting everything they worked for isn’t going to help. But maybe they can build again on solid ground and go from there. So as far as 3b$, Avatar, Avengers are the only real contenders at the moment. Possibly Potter if JK writes more books and Radcliffe returns, but that’s a big stretch. And Avengers 4 probably won’t make what EG did until they build up to another major arc, so Avatar 4 is my bet. |

That's what ppl really want. I know Kevin Smith was on record years ago now about Disney that the MCU & Star Wars would likely clash in our lifetime. Every passing year now, esp with this timeline bs, seems less & less improbable. It would kill them both.
