Example being Terminator 2 - Shot moves through a graveyard which was formally a playground. The silence is broken when a skull is crushed and the shot moves up to reveal the ongoing war. Fucking awesome.

I am still attached to the sensation I felt when Edward Norton figured out he and Tyler Durden were the same person. The scene that cuts from Edward Norton sitting across from nobody while hearing Brad Pitt's voice was terrific.
