New comedy show. Anyone watching it? I missed the first few episodes but I am really enjoying it. And now I just found out that it's a (yet another) remake of a British show. Has anyone seen that one? Has anyone seen both, and if so, how do they compare?

The British show is brilliant.
I have not seen the American remake.

I watched the British version on HBOMAX and was not surprised to hear there would be a US version. The Brits win again but the US version is not too bad. It's a cute, harmless little time filler. I've seen worse remakes.

I've been watching the new American version, with the most recent episode about the hippie chick who kept the money from a bank robbery - intended to be shared among her community. I will try to check out the original on HBO Max. Hopefully there's a deviation of the American version of the series. The horrid virtual copy of the American version of Coupling still haunts me.

I’m watching it. I thought the ads looked sorta dumb. I checked it out anyway, and I’m glad I did. So far it’s been a fun and quirky little show.

I enjoyed season 1 of the American version of Ghosts I am not enjoying season 2 very much. Weird......then I'm not the only one (though I wouldn't go quite so far as saying "not enjoying very much") !! Still LOVE this show, and plan on watching the original (British) version after I complete the last few episodes of the (U.S.) season 2, but haven't quite put my finger on what it is about season 2 that isn't quite as good as the first season was......maybe just the simple fact that it's no longer "new" to me ?? SAVE FERRIS

Has anyone seen that one? Has anyone seen both, and if so, how do they compare? This is probably an 'unpopular opinion', but I prefer the US version of the TV series Ghosts to the original UK version. While I watched the US version first and one could say that might've 'influenced' my opinion...I don't think that's the case. The main reason I prefer the US version is because I find basically all of the characters in the UK version (especially the ghosts) to be annoying, a-holes or annoying a-holes and I'm lucky if I can get a single chuckle out of each episode. Whereas the US version's characters are ones who *can* annoy me at times, but I don't find them as unlikeable as the UK version's. Plus, there's at least a couple of LOL-worthy moments for me in each episode of the US version. And it's not like I'm anti-UK versions of TV shows, since the UK version of Being Human is one of my favourite TV shows (while I pretend the US version doesn't exist).
