And he always had such a long face. Why the long face? I have been searching for waaay too long to find a particular print cartoon by the inimitable Virgil ("Vip") Partch--but I couldn't find it anywhere. Sigh. Anyway, it depicts two Middle Eastern guys. One of them says to the other, who is sitting on a curb looking depressed: "Hey, Abdul, why the long fez?" (And, of course, his headgear (familiar to those who know of the Shriners) is indeed very long. Well, I guess you had to be there...)
