Even if I will for ever be reminded of his fantastic part, as the colorful and highly memorable villainous gangleader part, of Manny Fraker ("Hey, man, I always win!") Gavan seemed to be a solid character actor, and where another favorite role of his, came through the season 2 episode from Tales From the Crypt, called Three's a Crowd, which I think stands surely among the true highlights of the show. Anyway, I had some plans just the other day, of re-watching a few of my favorite Charles Bronson movies (as I think his 100th birthday, was earlier this month), but with the sad news of Gavan, I might just have to re-watch Death Wish 3 once more. R.I.P. Gavan O'Herlihy

Aw, man. I always liked this guy. Another one I first saw on Tales from the Crypt, and damn was he scary on his episode... He was also really memorably intense and douche-y in Lonesome Dove:
