Pardon me if you had a similar poll recently, I'm new here. I'm usually on the Religion, Faith and Spirituality board.
Does your family gather around the piano and sing?
Does Regan come out and say, "You're all going to die up there"?

Yes. Two pianos: An upright piano and an electric piano (five octaves less).
There are more guitar players in my circle of family and friends than piano players, but everybody walks over to those pianos and bangs out a tune or two. Some of us can play better than others, but no matter who monkeys around with the piano its always stupid fun. And the electric piano is a blast with all the different voices. Can play something like the theme from JAWS using the strings voice and it really does sound like the theme from JAWS.

When a movie is popular these days people buy the video game of it. When I was growing up if a movie was popular people bought the piano sheet music for some of the songs. The radio and the guitar have overthrown the family piano, I suppose. Fewer home cooks are competing with the restaurant chains. There are fewer home mechanics. No one wants to be a "folk" singer anymore. Little wonder the family is not the center of life it once was.

There are tons of home musicians. Guitarists call them "bedroom players." Some of them are quite good, while most just play to have fun. Nothing wrong with that.
And the center of life right now happens to be the cell phone. Sad but true.

At least someone is learning to read and play, and one hopes eventually write, music. I like classical music way more than most people do. The music is the only part of Star Wars that I like and I usually like other science fiction even though it doesn't have great music.

Yes, 2. One in the family room and one in my grandma's room. Some people have all the luck. I wish I knew how that works.
