i know lttle about basketball, people. i watched 30 for 30 about thomas and hs role in the pstons rivalry wth the celtics 25-30 years ago. so cool, i know who he is now. then i lsten to espn radio on the way to work and hear about him playng for the celtics. wtf? I thought i was hearing thngs.
but m not. there are two players, one now plays for the celtics, the elder one the coach. LOL. feel so stupid. i always get into the nba right at the end if its exciting like it is this year.

I could give a tin shit for the NBA, but i kind of figured that the Isiah Thomas, the guard who graduated from Indiana in 1981 isn't the same Isaiah Thomas who plays for the Celtics today (well, did play). I figured that the Indiana Thomas would be in his mid 50, long past the sell by date for an NBA guard.

Believe it or not, he was named Isaiah because his father lost a bet to a Pistons fan. True story.
