Was Travis really that dense in his choice of movie for his date with Betsy? I’m glad we don’t get to see what .44 Magnum does to a woman’s pussy. I’ve come to greater appreciation of Bernard Hermann’s sultry score. Sport’s slow dance with Iris is mightily uncomfortable. Being a Martin Scorsese movie, it is rather well directed.
