… when on TV. For me, Apollo 13. (Right up there with Hunt for Red October and My Cousin Vinny.)
Anyways, I’m watching it right now (I get a lump in my throat, every time) … I make the comment that they did all that with freakin’ slide rules. My wife responds with - The press hasn’t changed much. It’s a good thing I wasn’t drinking coffee.

Ed Harris’s red faced effort to suppress his emotions at the end of the movie. More powerful than any emotional outburst we’d get these days.

The original Total Recall. I just find it a hard movie to tear myself away from.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Every time I see it, I say “Nope, seen it 100,000 times, have the Blu Ray and own it on Amazon “ And my wife just shakes her head

Tremors, never seen the whole movie, but every time it would come on TV, my brother and I would watch it.

The Dark Knight
Even though I own it on dvd and saw it 3 times in theaters way back in the summer of 2008, I can never get enough of it (especially any scene involving the Joker. Heath Ledger gave an iconic performance)

Every year abc shows the Ten Commandments. It’s an all evening event! I have the 4k but it’s still fun to remember the days when almost everyone was watching the same thing. Easy to do with 3 networks, pbs, and a handful of uhf stations.

I have never figured out why some stations play it at Christmas time unless they figure any "religion / Bible" related movie is fair game for the season... it's not as if there are not actual "Christmas films" by the boatload available.

I love catching My Cousin Vinny on TV.
The Terminator Sin City
Various Star War' and MCU's The Dark Knight, though it seems like it's been a while since I've seen it on TV

Well, christmas is based on religion so it makes sense.
