This was an iffy year, not a lot of people are jumping out at me. I love Nadia and I love Chloe, but she's never been much of an actress, and Marci Miller is both iffy and was in and out this year because of her real-life pregnancy. And Camila and Deidre do nothing for me. So sort of by default I'm left with Lindsay Arnold, Arianne Zucker and Emily O'Brien, all of whom I like, and all of whom gave decent performances this year. But to be honest, this is not one where I was blown away. That kind of speaks to this entire year.
I agree that this wasn’t a banner year for outstanding lead actresses. Deidre was my first choice, followed by Arianne and then Nadia. I was almost going to vote for Emily but chose Nadia for longevity with the show.
