Star Trek: The Motion Picture isn't even particularly great, it's kind of just a dumbed down 2001 A Space Odyssey.
Wrath of Khan is the best thing Star Trek related, but there have been other good movies, I love The Voyage Home, The Undiscovered Country, Insurrection, First Contact and Star Trek Beyond. As far as the shows go my favorite was always Deep Space Nine.

Absolutely not. I'll also go further and say that it was so crappy they're lucky the franchise got a second chance with Wrath of Khan.
