No order, and of course the definition of comedy is so vague:
Trouble in Paradise One, Two, Three Stage Door Sons of the Desert Road to Utopia To Be or Not to Be (’42) Horse Feathers Victor/Victoria The Shop Around the Corner (if it really counts as a comedy) Clueless
I tried to do a variety of kinds of comedies and ended up with lots of Lubitsches. Well, so be it. And I’m sure I’ve forgotten something major.
EDIT: Yup, what about Smiles of a Summer Night? Grr, let’s call it No. 11. And Midnight in Paris (if that counts)!

How do you narrow it down that much?
I'll try.
Airplane! The Naked Gun Clue Duck Soup A Night in Casablanca Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein Big Man on Campus The 'burbs Police Academy 4 Spaceballs
I don't know, 10 is a very bare bones list. There's so many to pick from.

Pretty sure, that I have forgotten a few too many. But then again, with only 10 favorites as the maximum, and yeah, all of the ones I listed down below, are of the kind of comedy gems, that still makes me laugh, no matter how many times one have re-watched them.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) A Christmas Story (1983) Groundhog Day (1993) This Is Spinal Tap (1984) Christmas Vacation (1989) The Big Lebowski (1998) Meet the Feebles (1989) The ’Burbs (1989) Trading Places (1983) Kingpin (1996)
