Universal healthcare? At this point were lucky if we'll even get a public option. Crazy to think were still the only industrialized nation that doesn't have some sort of universal healthcare system. But I guess that can be chalked up to fighting the Soviet Union and the "horrors" of socialism for decades. Yay neoliberalism!

It's "kow tow". I think you just called women "cows". i most times use the correct spelling which is kow tow. but i am so upset at present with the way so many cultures treat women as if they were animal stock that i went with cow. i could just spit when i think how these archaic stereotypes are repeated again and again and again.

Karen is the new cow. Are Karens necessarily overweight? I just thought it refered to uptight suburban middle age white women in general.

I think both "cow" and "Karen" are nasty putdowns of women though. the world is perpetually revolving inside a black hole of women being shackled while subjugated to the whims of males who think they are doing some god a favor by petting their faithful servants on their collective heads. all the while tucking them into sweet dream beds of servitude morphing into never-ending dread. lights shine into darkness and e v e r y t h i ng is illuminated. shall we parade on its outskirts or flame the fires?

Frankly, the second class status of women is more biology than patriarchy. It's not our fault they're put out of commission for 9 months due to pregnancy, not to mention being slaves to squalling brats for several years ensuing.
Of course men have taken advantage of this to dominate women. But the God of Evolution doesn't give a fuck about social equality. This God is pragmatic about survival of the species.
men have tooled everything around them in acts of a self-serving righteousness that only a made-up voodoo could possibly have perpetuated throughout human history. generating endless excuses as to why males are more fit and enlightened to be in control. and the species will always be here. will always tool and retool its language to serve the inflamed egos of the male animal. as women stand dutifully in the shadows. the shadows generated by ions of men acting out whims of spoiled fantasies handed down to them by their dear old dads.
