I'm up to date on the episodes but was just wondering if anybody else was watching and what they thought about it? Which character do yous like the best so far?
I have a couple of favourites, I love Mr. Wednesday, Technical Boy, Anubis and Mr. Ibis. I'm quite intrigued to see where it all goes...I haven't read the books but I have read other ones by Neil Gaiman and loved them.

Yeah. I'm watching it. I kinda just take it for what it is. Each episode on its own. It has a non sequitur kinda quality. Trying to tie it all together is pointless I find. So far , it's ok though. Not GREAT but entertaining enough.

It's been okay, it hasn't been great like I hoped it would be. The guy playing Shadow isn't the best actor and this recent episode moved slow. Hopefully it will get better. There's a part from the book I am really hoping to see that should be coming up.

I don't know why, but I have this unwavering feeling that it is not as good as Nerdist and some of the other sites say.

I watched 4 or 5 episodes. I'm not sure how many because each one has been forgetful. I didn't finish the book cuz it was boring and the TV series is the same. It's a shame because Al Swearagan has such potential.

The season only has 2 episodes left. I'll finish but I don't think I'm sticking around for season 2. It's been slow overall and they took out things from the book that would have been amazing to see on the show. Also, Ricky Whittle is just not a good actor and he isn't getting any better.

The first episode was somewhat intriguing but it quickly turned to meandering nonsense. Ian McShane is perfect as always but the rest of the cast is pretty mediocre and that's being generous. Crispin Glover is odd of course but we have no reason to give a shit about his character or really any of them. Why? Because instead of even the slightest backstory on any of the "gods" or why they may be warring, we have episodes devoted to some spinner chick zombie and muslims sucking each others dongs.
Often anglophiles gush over a show merely because some brit actors attempt to do an American accent. I doubt even anglophiles are stupid enough to fall for that this time. The American accents done by the non Americans are atrocious. Gillian Anderson despite being inadequate at doing Bowie and Marilyn Monroe, still did a much better brit accent by comparison.

Liking it so far. Major League nose dive potential though.

Excellent, if flawed a bit. I agree with everyone else that Ricky Whittle is the weak point in the show. He's one of those uber-hunky barbell lifters who's good at looking angry or intense under his massive clenched jaw, but not much else. But maybe that was the character.
I like the story very much and the crazier it gets, the more I like it. I like the cyberpunk gods vs the old gods idea and the story is just mysterious enough to keep me watching. I love the little opening stories in each episode. The leprechaun is a great twist on that mythical creature -- and pure Neil Gaiman: Angry, swearing, brutal. The hammer-wielding Peter Stormare was a great character and the whole Russian thing with Cloris Leachman was very interesting and intriguing, again, very Neil Gaiman. If you like Neil Gaiman's work, this is not to be missed. I'm liking this a lot more than simple minded fare like "Stranger Things." It's challenging and surreal, which I like.
The opening of episode 2 was better than anything Tarantino has written in the last 20 years. And Gillian Anderson as "I Love Lucy" was the best mindfuck I've had in years.
