This was a great play for 75 yards at the time. But why does Jones have his head swiveled the whole time when Tartt (the strong safety) is so far from him? Should he have just turned it up to full speed down the sideline, in stead of waiting to try to deke him? Sure he might have been tripped up from behind by Dontae Johnson, but he'd have had a good chance to score a TD. They end up with a blocked FG and zero points. He even makes a course "correction" in their direction. I was like: WTF, dude?!

He may not have scored still, but he would've gotten closer than he did. Also, he should've gotten closer to the sideline anyway. If he got out of bounds he would've preserved the time out.

That was the biggest mistake there, if he goes out of bounds they save that timeout and that would have opened up the playbook a little more. Instead Rodgers drops back for a pass and gets the ball knocked out of his hand by Bosa, then Rodgers decides to just let it run down and take the FG.
They should have gotten at least two shots at the end zone in that situation. Situational football is so crucial in the playoffs. The Packers came up short on almost every key down in this game.

In case anyone wants a good laugh (most here I'm sure would at this teams expense) the Packers special teams unit not only gave up tons of return yards on kick offs, allowed a blocked FG, allowed a blocked punt for a TD, on the game winning FG they didn't even realize they only had 10 players on the field. What a laughable shit show that unit has been for a while. (I choose to laugh otherwise I would break something or bones) Funny thing is, Lafleur when hired wanted to hire a special teams coach who I believe has been in New Orleans since (and been good) only for the Packers front office to low ball him on money only to meet his asking price later only for him to say "fuck off". If they still need a special teams coach, I hear Joe Judge is available. The other team that should be mocked here is the Packers' arch enemy, the Bears. Why did they not retain Robbie Gould when they had the chance? Bears have had a variety of lost games, including in the playoffs, because of missed kicks. Gould has never missed a playoff kick in his career: 20 for 20 on field goals and 32 for 32 on extra points.

As others have said he should have gone outta bounds. He wasn't gonna score but you could have had the ball at around the 25 with 2 time outs instead of 1. Had a shot at a play not limited to the sideline and then an endzone shot. Instead it was a blocked FG.
