A lot of Hollywood is weird you're right just not Chris. We have two different interpretations of weird to you a golf playing action star with a hot wife is weird and I don't. I think people that undergo extreme sex change with chemicals are weird. Also what's your opinion on transgenders? Out of interest. What do transgender people have to do with anything? Just a question. There's a reason why I've been quite harsh with you in this thread and your answer to my question will clear everything up for you.

Not particularly bright? And you know that how? The guy can memorize whole scripts what can you do? It's literally his job to be bright. You seem to hate him because he's the straight white hero man in other words he's not weird enough. Jesus Christ, I don’t even hate Chris Pratt. Why are you getting so outraged on his behalf? Pay it no mind. Remember who you're conversing with.

You're not still triggered by me calling Robert Patrick fat and old are you? How about you shut your mouth and stick to posting movie articles you're good at that.

She made it perfectly clear in her post that she is not anti-vaccine and that she is only opposed to vaccine mandates, which was the whole point of the demonstration she was referring to. It's hard to have a rational discussion when people insist on mischaracterizing the opinions of others.

There were thousands of people there. You can't paint everyone with the most extreme opinion that was uttered in the entire event. Some people at BLM protests say all cops should be killed, that doesn't mean everyone there feels that way or that everyone else's opinions are invalid.

She's not anti-vax, she's anti-mandate - She wants people to have the freedom to decide to have the vaccine or not and not be dictated to receive it in order to go to certain places and work.

Not thinking it is right to have people banned from places or fired from their jobs over vaccination is disappointing? The vaccine does not work wonders for everybody, some people have had really nasty side effects.

It’s occurred to me recently that Marvel sure seems to have a lot of rather eccentric actors working with them. Mark Ruffalo is a conspiracy theorist and 9/11 truther, Gwyneth Paltrow is a snake oil saleswoman, Chris Pratt may or not support an anti-LGBT church (I’m not judging him for his Christian beliefs, but he does seem like a bit of a weird guy in general), and Letitia Wright and Evangeline Lilly think vaccines will put a chip in your body that will let Bill Gates control you or whatever. Also, Elon Musk was in Iron Man 2, and he’s a massive weirdo who actually is trying to put chips inside people’s brains. Well, at least Tom Holland seems pretty normal…for now! Lilly is not against vaccination, she is against mandates that require you to get a vaccination or else you risk getting banned from certain places, losing your job, and in some cases not allowed to receive medical treatment for other health complications (Read up on the stories about people who have to wait for surgeries because they need vaccination first and can't see their families). And Chris Pratt isn't anti-LGBTQ, he has friends and co-workers who are of the community.

Whatever it was it is still just one person's opinion and Ms. Lilly did not echo that particular comment in her post so it is irrelevent.

It’s a major health concern, and the vaccine is free anyway, so what’s the problem with getting it? It certainly doesn’t warrant comparing it to the Holocaust.

Again, I don’t think she should be fired, but I do think she made a dumb decision.

It's how discussions get started and eventually informed decisons get made. Would you say she made a dumb decision if she attended a BLM protest or climate change rally where one of the main speakers made a very offensive comment (as often happens)?

I’m of the opinion that being against vaccine mandates is dumb in general, and that a lot of the people who are opposed to them come across as conspiracy theorists who act like they’re being oppressed, even though it’s not like they’re being thrown in jail for not taking the vaccine, but that’s just me. Like I said though, I’m not calling for her to be fired.

Like I said though, I’m not calling for her to be fired. While I myself have already taken 3 vaccine shots, I think it's extremely judgemental to call people dumb just because they don't want to be forced to inject foreign substances into their bodies. My wife had a very severe reaction after her 2nd vaccine shot, had to rush her to the hospital twice because she seemed like she was having a heart attack, and now she seems to have developed a permanent case of pericarditis. She is now extremely hesitant to take her 3rd booster shot. So while I personally am more pro-vaccine than anti, I am certainly hoping the government (or society) doesn't start mandating us to take that 3rd shot like they did with the first two, because I'm not sure I'd like to risk my wife's health like that again. And I can certainly understand the point of view of other people not wanting to be mandated into taking the vaccines. All I'm trying to say, is that maybe we shouldn't be too judgemental of other people just because they have different opinions from us.

The problem some people have with getting the vaccine is that it still relatively fresh, the rules to stop the spread keep changing every new day, and not everyone's bodies will react the same to the vaccine's properties. As for the comparison, I'm not going to get into what Kennedy said, but just because Lilly was there doesn't necessarily mean she thought that comparison was justifiable.
